Braddock Estates, Frostburg

Braddock Estates is a distinguished neighborhood nestled in the mountains of Frostburg, Maryland. The homes in Braddock Estates are mostly middle-class, modest, quality houses with an eclectic mix of design aesthetics including split levels, colonials and ranchers.  It is a popular and highly sought after neighborhood in Frostburg for many reasons including beauty, community and location.

There is one way to enter and exit this neighborhood and with just over 100 homes, the traffic here is minimal.  The neighborhood is conveniently located less than a quarter mile from Exit 33 on US Highway 68. Frostburg State University is a quick 2 minute drive toward the historic downtown.

Construction on a new gas station has began just outside the entrance of Braddock Estates wich will be very convieneient for residents. We are not sure if the surrounding parcels will be developed into commercial space yet but there have been rumors of a chain restaurant circulating. Even with these new constructions nearby, there is no lack of beauty as the neighborhood is well kept by home owners. The manicured front lawns and colorful flowerbeds are only framed byt the surrounding woods.

Braddock Estates has a great advantage because it is also a part of the Frostburg community. Children in this excellent neighborhood enjoy great schools and other community involvement opportunities such as team sports, town parades and youth programs. There are abundant public parks and recreational areas located close or within walking distance to Braddock Estates.  The residents in Braddock Estates are courteous, caring and there is truly a sense of community and cooperation among its neighbors.
